🎵 Composing Emotion, Crafting Atmosphere
My discography is a blend of original compositions and collaborative works that cross genres and contexts. Music, for me, is both a standalone art and a powerful storytelling tool, one that enhances emotion, builds atmosphere, and carries narrative weight.
Whether I’m scoring a film or producing a track, I focus on texture, mood, and emotional nuance. I experiment with structure and sound to create pieces that feel alive, sometimes cinematic, sometimes intimate, always intentional.
Each composition tells a story. Sometimes that story supports a visual; other times, it stands alone, inviting the listener to find their own meaning.

AEON is a cinematic musical journey exploring the vastness of time, ancient civilizations, and the unknown spaces between the past and the future. The piece blends orchestral elements, atmospheric synthesizers, and immersive sound design to create a world that feels both ancient and otherworldly.
Beginning with a mysterious and dramatic atmosphere, AEON gradually builds through powerful percussion, sweeping melodies, and evolving textures before transforming into a more expansive cosmic landscape. Inspired by the feeling of discovering something far beyond human understanding, the composition moves through moments of tension, wonder, and hope.
MUSICAL STYLE
AEON combines elements of cinematic scoring, ambient music, and electronic soundscapes. The composition was created to feel like a journey through forgotten worlds, distant galaxies, and the endless passage of time.
The piece draws inspiration from the emotional storytelling found in film scores while incorporating the atmosphere and exploration found in classic electronic music.
INSTRUMENTS & SOUND DESIGN
The project features a combination of orchestral and electronic instrumentation, including:
• Synthesizers and atmospheric pads
• Cinematic percussion and drums
• Orchestral bass elements
• Piano textures
• Irish harp
• Choir and vocal textures
• Ambient sound design and environmental effects
Each layer was carefully crafted to create a sense of scale, from intimate moments of reflection to massive cinematic passages.
PRODUCTION
AEON was composed, arranged, and produced by Brad Huffman. The piece was created using a combination of virtual instruments, synthesizers, and custom sound design techniques to build a fully immersive cinematic environment.
The goal was to create a composition that could exist somewhere between a film score and a standalone musical experience, allowing the listener to imagine their own story within the world of AEON.
CONCEPT
The title AEON represents an endless span of time, an age beyond human measurement. The piece explores the idea of humanity standing before something ancient and infinite, looking toward the unknown while reflecting on the moments that connect us across generations.

An old, decrepit man, once a proud crew member and one of the few survivors of the SS Morro Castle disaster, now spends his final years confined to a dim weathered apartment in Hamilton, Ohio. The world outside moves on, children laugh, sirens wail in the distance, and the seasons change, but inside time has collapsed.
Plagued by the ghosts of his past, he is tethered to a life support device, his only means of survival after sustaining life altering injuries during that tragic shipwreck decades ago. Yet this machine does more than keep his body alive, it sustains his memories, cycling them endlessly like film caught in a projector. Moments of joy, guilt, loss, and redemption loop on repeat, each one more vivid than the last.
As he drifts through the fog of time, blurred by age and regret, he is faced with an impossible choice, continue reliving these fragments of a broken past by pressing rewind, or finally pull the plug and step into the silence of the unknown.
MEMORIES is a hand-crafted concept album built around this emotional journey. Blending lush analog and digital synthesizers with degraded tape loops, VHS static, and ambient field recordings, the album recreates the tactile ghostly warmth of the 1980s. Every track is steeped in atmosphere, both cinematic and deeply personal, inviting the listener to inhabit the character’s fractured reality.
Each composition serves as a chapter in the man’s life, from the hopeful glimmer of youth at sea, to the chaos of the fateful fire aboard the Morro Castle, to the hollow quiet of old age and isolation.
Layered with subtle recurring motifs like the pulse of a heart monitor or the rhythmic churn of waves, MEMORIES is not just an album, it is a soundscape of remembrance, trauma, and the fragile line between staying and letting go.
For fans of ambient storytelling, retro futuristic textures, and emotionally driven synth music, MEMORIES is a voyage into the mind of a man trying to outlive time itself.
MEMORIES Deluxe Edition celebrates the album that started it all. Expanded to 16 tracks, this special edition revisits the original journey with four additional compositions that further explore the themes, emotions, and atmosphere that defined the project. Created as a tribute to the album's enduring significance, the Deluxe Edition offers listeners an opportunity to experience the story in a deeper and more complete form, honoring both the music and the memories that inspired it.

The original film version, adapted by Wendy Carlos and Rachel Elkind from Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, remains one of the most recognizable opening themes in horror cinema. My goal was to preserve the atmosphere and emotional impact of the original recording while introducing subtle elements of my own musical style and production approach.
Drawing inspiration from the imagery of the Overlook Hotel and the film's haunting sense of scale, I developed an arrangement that stays true to the spirit of the source material while incorporating touches of my own creative voice. Synthesizers, evolving textures, and carefully crafted ambience were used to deepen the atmosphere while preserving the qualities that made the original so effective.
As with many of my projects, the focus was on storytelling through sound. Every production decision was made with the goal of honoring the magic of the original theme while offering listeners a fresh perspective through my own creative lens. The result is a respectful reinterpretation that celebrates the legacy of the original composition while showcasing my approach to arrangement, sound design, mixing, and mastering.

Balancing tension, melancholy, and cinematic atmosphere, the soundtrack draws influence from classic noir while remaining rooted in a modern setting. Through dark textures and emotionally driven themes, When the Sun Sets delivers a haunting and immersive musical experience that evolves alongside the film’s story.

The soundtrack reflects this offbeat dynamic with electronic textures, pulsing rhythms, and a touch of hip hop that mirrors Lil Yoyo’s energy and humor. The music moves between tension and playful warmth, highlighting both the absurdity and the unexpected connection at the center of the story.
Balancing comedy with subtle emotion, the score creates a distinctive atmosphere that brings this unusual encounter to life.

Blending ambient textures, subtle melodies, touches of jazz and rising tension, the EP captures the passage of time, memory, and quiet resilience.

The Sound of Letting Go explores the quiet weight of grief and the strength it takes to move beyond it. Shadowed ambience and distant echoes create a feeling of isolation, as if suspended in time. As the piece evolves, sorrow gives way to force and motion, culminating in a bold, resonant climax that feels both breaking and becoming.
Released as a defining new single for 2026, this track marks a powerful creative leap for Brad Huffman, blending haunting dark ambience with a thunderous cinematic finale that demands to be felt. The Sound of Letting Go is not just a release. It is a statement, setting the tone for a bigger and more immersive chapter ahead.

In the summer of 1985, a late-night broadcast in the town of Red Bud, Illinois was interrupted by something no one could explain.
The hijacked signal aired for exactly eleven minutes. No station claimed responsibility. No master tape was ever found. And yet, dozens of residents reported seeing the same thing: a masked figure, face flickering with static, staring through the screen in total silence.
Within days, people began to disappear. First the night shift workers. Then teenagers who had recorded the broadcast.
Authorities blamed it on mass hysteria. The local news buried the story. But somewhere, deep in a forgotten archive, a warped VHS surfaced — all that’s left of the transmission. A synth-driven score pulses beneath analog noise, as if scoring a horror film that was never made.
They call him The Broadcaster.
And they say if you hear the full signal...
he finds you next.

Blending sleek synthesizers, pulsing strings, and electric guitar textures, the score moves seamlessly between stealth, suspense, and emotion. Each track reflects the shifting motives, betrayals, and adrenaline-fueled twists that define the film. From laser-dodging stealth to an unexpected moment of connection, Hidden Motives is a cinematic soundscape built for intrigue and heart.
