Lil Yoyo & the Robot Shorty Earns Multiple Winterfilm 2026 Nominations

Being part of Lil Yoyo & the Robot Shorty was an incredibly fun and creatively open experience. As composer, I had the chance to lean into a more playful and experimental sound world, shaping the music around the film’s energy, humor, and character-driven moments.

The score blends electronic elements, rhythmic movement, and textured sound design to match the film’s unique tone and pacing. It was a great opportunity to explore a different musical direction while still staying grounded in storytelling.

I’m grateful to have contributed to a project that has received recognition across several categories and to have worked alongside such a creative team.

Supporting Male Actor – Patrick Johnston as Tony Shimsaf

Sound Design – Michael Smith

Original Song – “In Ya House” by Philip Diox & Zach Pike

Make-Up Artist – Zach Pike & Jessica Phillips McCoy
