Slasher Synth ’85 – The Lost TransmissionšŸ“”

The broadcast begins September 28th.

But starting now, you can pre-save or purchase the album and be ready when the signal hits. Once you tune in, there’s no turning back.

šŸ“¼ The Legend of the Broadcaster

In the summer of 1985, a late-night broadcast in Red Bud, Illinois was interrupted by something no one could explain.

The hijacked signal aired for exactly eleven minutes. No station claimed responsibility. No master tape was ever found. Yet dozens of residents reported the same thing: a masked figure, face flickering with static, staring silently through the screen.

Within days, people began to disappear. First the night shift workers. Then teenagers who had recorded the broadcast. Authorities called it hysteria. The news buried the story.

But somewhere, deep in a forgotten archive, a warped VHS surfaced — all that’s left of the transmission. A synth-driven score pulses beneath analog noise, as if scoring a horror film that was never made.

They call him The Broadcaster… and if you hear the full signal, he finds you next.

šŸŽ¶ The Music

This album is not AI. No shortcuts. Every synth patch dialed in by hand. Every sequence built from scratch. Every note performed and recorded live.

Layers of basslines, pads, arps, and textures sculpted to capture that late-night 80s slasher atmosphere. Oscillators tweaked, envelopes shaped, reverbs stretched until the sound itself feels alive.

It’s more than sound design — it’s atmosphere. Static, tension, flickers of light in the dark. Every take builds a world: The Broadcaster’s world. A soundtrack that breathes, stalks, and lingers long after the last note.

šŸ™ Special Thanks

A huge thank you to Jessica Buck for narrating the first track, and Kendall Little for singing on the final track.
