I’m excited to officially announce the release of Overlook (Main Title from The Shining), my cinematic reinterpretation of one of the most iconic themes in film history.

A Return to the Overlook
There are certain pieces of music that stay with you forever. The opening theme from The Shining has always been one of those pieces for me — haunting, hypnotic, and instantly transporting. With Overlook, I wanted to create my own interpretation of that atmosphere using synthesizers, ambient textures, and immersive sound design while still honoring the spirit of the original composition.

Rather than recreating the theme note for note, I approached this project as a cinematic reimagining. The goal was to capture the same sense of isolation, dread, and mystery that makes the Overlook Hotel feel so unforgettable, while filtering it through my own voice as a composer.
