What a road it’s been, but we finally made it. This film was a true labor of love created by Zach Pike and me, and we can’t wait for all of you to see it. Over the last couple of years, we’ve poured our hearts into this project—developing the story, shaping the visuals, and working with an incredible cast and crew to bring this dark, suspenseful world to life. Every day on set was filled with energy, collaboration, and creativity, from designing the look of the town to capturing the small, tense moments that give the story its edge.

I also chose to compose the original score for CHOKE, because I wanted to create music that would fully immerse the audience in the story. Writing the score allowed me to explore the tension, emotion, and atmosphere of every scene, adding depth to the suspense and highlighting the small moments of humanity within this dark world. From subtle motifs to dramatic crescendos, each cue was designed to bring the film’s eerie and unpredictable world to life.

Working with our cast, especially Jessica Buck, was a highlight of the entire experience. Her performance brought depth and nuance that made every scene more compelling. Zach and I often marveled at the chemistry on set, and it’s that collaborative spirit that made CHOKE feel alive. There were late nights on set, long discussions about lighting and mood, and moments of pure laughter amid the tension—these are the memories that will stick with me forever.
