Every Note Played: A Peek Behind the Scenes

🎹 Slasher Synth ’85 – The Lost Transmission 🎹

Here’s a look inside just one track from the album. Every synth patch was dialed in by hand, every sequence built from scratch, and every note performed and recorded live. No AI. No shortcuts. What you are seeing is layers of basslines, pads, Arps, and textures stacked together to capture that late-night 80’s slasher atmosphere.

This is the kind of detail I live for. Actually playing the parts,

chasing the right oscillation, tweaking envelopes, and layering reverb tails until the sound feels alive. It takes hours of performance and sound design, sculpting space to get that authentic analog dread.

But it is more than just knobs, keys, and faders. It is atmosphere. Static, tension, flickers of light in the dark. Each take, each layer, each performance is part of building a world: the Broadcaster’s world. A soundtrack that breathes, stalks, and lingers long after the last note.

I am looking forward to everyone hearing it. I will be sharing the full track list soon along with the descriptions for each piece so you can see how the story unfolds.

October cannot come soon enough. 🔪📼
