An old, weathered man—once a proud crew member and one of the few survivors of the SS Morro Castle disaster—spends his final years in a dim apartment in Hamilton, Ohio. Outside, life goes on. But inside, time has collapsed.

Bound to a life-support machine after life-altering injuries, this device does more than keep him alive — it sustains his memories. They loop endlessly like a flickering film reel, replaying moments of joy, guilt, loss, and redemption with haunting clarity.

Faced with a profound choice—press rewind to relive these memories or pull the plug and step into the silence of the unknown—he drifts through an emotional, fractured reality.

Blending lush analog and digital synths with degraded tape loops, VHS static, and ambient field recordings, Memories captures the ghostly warmth of the 1980s. Each track tells a chapter—from hopeful youth at sea, to the chaos of the Morro Castle fire, to the hollow quiet of old age.

Recurring motifs like heartbeat monitors and crashing waves thread the album, making it an immersive soundscape of trauma, remembrance, and the fragile balance between holding on and letting go.

This project means the world to me. Every track is a piece of my journey—moments of love, growth, loss, and self-discovery.
