Had a great time at Winterfilm 2026. Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners. It was a pleasure meeting so many of you, and it was also great seeing some familiar faces again. A big shoutout to everyone involved.
It was an incredible experience creating the music for both Lil Yoyo and the Robot Shorty and 20 Years. Both films were very well received at the festival, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.
20 Years took home four awards, including Cinematography (Joe Palmer & Fabio Souza), Editing (Alexandra Kunzi), Production Design (Alexandra & Jay Kunzi, Ann Trinh), and Costume Design (Alexandra Kunzi).
Lil Yoyo and the Robot Shorty was nominated in five categories, including Supporting Male Actor (Patrick Johnston), Cinematography (Ben McClain & Cole Sellers), Sound Design (Michael Smith), Original Song (Philip Diox & Zach Pike), and Makeup Artist (Zach Pike & Jessica Phillips McCoy).
